Amin Relief
How it works

Every donation, followed all the way.

We don't ask for your trust — we show you. Here's how each step works, from your hand to a family's, with proof at every stage and nothing hidden in between.

The three promises

Three steps. Nothing hidden.

Every cause on Amin runs the same honest path — give, deliver, see. The details vary by program, but the promise is the same.

01

You give

Choose a cause, set the amount with a slider or by typing it in, and give once or monthly. You can always cancel, change the amount, or move to a different cause.

02

We deliver

A vetted local team turns your donation into the real thing — food, kits, a surgery, a child's school month — and labels it with your name where they can.

03

You see it

Follow your donation through every stage in real time, and receive photos, video, or a letter when it lands. Proof, not promises — every time.

The tracker

Five stages, visible at all times.

Every donation surfaces a live tracker — the guaranteed floor of what you'll see.

Donation status

A representative tracker — every donation gets its own, with timestamps and notes at each step.

Received

Your donation is confirmed, the tracker opens.

Allocated

Matched to a family, a child, or a procedure.

In progress

Packed, scheduled, or on its way to delivery.

Delivered

Hand to hand, with your name on the box.

Documented

Photo, video, or letter shared back to you.

Your experience, beginning to end

From the moment you give, to the photo in your hands.

Here's exactly what happens after you tap donate — and where you watch it all unfold.

  1. 1

    You give

Choose a cause, set the amount, give once or monthly. The moment you do, your tracker opens — and your portal shows the line it always shows: “Here's exactly where your giving is right now — every step, in the open.”

  2. 2

It pools toward the next distribution

Monthly gifts gather over the quarter so each distribution is real, not rushed. The tracker doesn't go dark while it waits — it shows the stage honestly: Received, then Allocated, with a timestamp on each.

  3. 3

    It's delivered, by hand

A vetted local team turns your gift into the real thing and carries it to a family — your name on the box, or “from a friend” if you gave anonymously. The tracker moves to In progress, then Delivered.

  4. 4

You see it — and keep it

The tracker reaches Documented, and the proof lands: the dedication card in your name, a photo of your sticker on the item, the recap of the distribution it joined. Yours to keep, gathered in your portal.

Live trackers

Every donation's current stage at a glance, with timestamps — and the history of completed ones.

Your proof archive

Every photo, video and letter — the dedication in your name, your box, the recap — tied to the exact gift it belongs to.

My donations

Every gift you've made, each with its tracker, proof and receipt — and your total given, always current.

Recurring giving

Your monthly gifts — adjust the amount, pause, or switch causes anytime. One setup, fully in your control.

Your zakat, tracked

Set your hawl, work out an estimate of what you owe, and record what you've paid — through us and elsewhere. Factual, no urgency.

Your sponsored child

When you sponsor, their profile, latest letter, photo and tracker history live in one place.

Every donor gets email updates at each step — the account just gathers it all in one place. The zakat calculator gives an estimate, not a fatwa; for complex wealth, speak to a scholar.

Where the money goes

Real costs, shown — not hidden.

Every honest charity has costs. Most bury them, or ask you to trust that they are small. We do the opposite: we show the exact cost of what you funded, add a flat, visible margin to keep the work running, and pay the vendor directly — so nothing is taken again on the other end.

8%
Operations — flat, every item
most of it the card fee we never touch

On every donation, you see three things

Open the breakdown on any cause and it is all there, to the cent — the same on a $16 kit or a $200 cooler.

The goods

The real, quoted cost of the item itself — the kit, the parcel, the heater.

Operations — a flat 8%

What it takes to get it there and show you the proof. The same rate on everything, always.

Card processing — money we never touch

The payment fee, shown inside the 8% — on smaller gifts it is most of it. It goes straight to the processor.

This is the whole number. No separate opt-in, no costs absorbed out of sight, no second cut taken overseas. What you see on the cause page is what happens to your money.

The four ways to give

Different causes, different paths.

Not every kind of help works the same way. Here's how the four patterns differ — and what each means for you.

Matched relationship

Orphan sponsorship

Examples: Sponsor an orphan

An ongoing bond, mediated through our team. You're matched to a verified child within days, sponsor them month to month, and receive rotating letters, photos, and updates — always with guardian consent.

What's different: No direct contact, and you don't pick the child — we match by greatest need. A continuity reserve protects the child if you ever pause.

Matched one-time

Medical care

Examples: Medical procedures

You fund a specific kind of care — a cataract surgery, a hernia repair — and we match it to a real patient on the waiting list who needs exactly that. You see it through to completion.

What's different: You pick the procedure, not the patient. Recovery photos are shared only with the patient's genuine consent — privacy is part of the care.

Batch distribution

Kits & parcels

Examples: Feed a Family, Hygiene Kit, Hot Meal, Summer Relief items

Your donation joins the next round of parcels heading out — each sealed with a "From [your name]" sticker, delivered hand to hand, and documented as a group.

What's different: No individual match. Help goes where need is highest. You always see the batch you funded; we try to photograph your specific named box.

The pool

Where Most Needed

Examples: Where Most Needed

You give any amount and trust us to direct it to the greatest need each period — gaps other causes didn't cover, urgent cases, and the small rounding excess from matched procedures.

What's different: No specific cause. In return, you get the richest reporting — a full where-it-went summary each period with the supporting proof behind every line.

Good to know

Honest answers

Do I have to create an account?

No. Every donor — account or not — receives email updates at each tracker step, plus the photo or video when the cause completes. The account is live and free, and gathers everything in one place: trackers, proof, receipts, recurring giving and zakat records.

How quickly does the tracker move?

The first stage (Received) is instant. Allocation and delivery vary by program — kits move within days, sponsorship is monthly, medical procedures depend on scheduling. The tracker always shows the latest stage with a timestamp.

What if something goes wrong?

Delays happen — a delivery rescheduled, a procedure postponed. When they do, the tracker stays honest: the stage doesn't advance and you'll see a note explaining what's holding it. Silence is the one thing we don't do.

Can I get a tax receipt?

Not yet. Amin Relief is in formation — once we're a registered 501(c)(3) with our IRS determination letter in hand, every donation will come with a deductible receipt and a year-end summary.

Who actually delivers?

Vetted local teams in each country, starting in Amman, Jordan. They handle the on-the-ground operations — verification, sourcing, packing, distribution, documentation — under our direction and with the same transparency standard.

How are prices set?

The vendor's real quoted cost, confirmed by the field coordinator, plus a flat 8% for operations — tidied to the nearest five cents. That is why prices aren't round numbers. Open the breakdown on any cause page and you can see the split to the cent, including the card fee, which sits inside the 8% rather than on top of it.

What about zakat?

The tracking tools are live: set your hawl date, work through the calculator, and keep a ledger of what you have paid — through us and elsewhere. The calculator gives an estimate, not a fatwa; for complex wealth, speak to a scholar. Zakat-designated gifts are routed only to zakat-eligible programmes and never fund operations, and a fiqh advisor is reviewing those boundaries before we describe them as certified.

Ready to see for yourself?

Pick a cause and you'll see exactly how this plays out — from the tracker that opens the moment you give, to the photo you receive when it lands.
